Job summary

Adepto Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Process Engineer for our Sandwich site.

The role manages the delivery of new equipment and technology via continuous improvement as part of the site capital projects program, providing process safety support to ensure the facilities manufacturing processes are capable of meeting the processing demands of the latest generation of Drug Substance Targets and their intermediates.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 5 Years relevant experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Competent in equipment specification, purchase, and related tasks.
• Experience in HAZOP, LOPA, and process safety analysis.
• Capable of writing and reviewing commissioning or validation protocols and technical documents.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide process engineering support to meet operational requirements and GMP standards.
• Define and specify requirements for capital projects and coordinate with vendors, facilities, and engineering groups to implement the design solution.
• Project manage capital projects from initial concept through detailed design, installation, and commissioning/validation, ensuring on time and on budget delivery.
• Lead validation requirements and standards including writing, review and technical assessment of validation protocols, commissioning and start-up.
• Lead specialist safety reviews and PHAs including What-If evaluations, HAZOP, LOPA, and Failure Mode & Effects Assessments when required.
• Provide process safety engineering support to meet operational requirements and regulatory standards.
• Review changes for technical accuracy and applicability to ensure compliance with GEP and EHS/Quality requirements.
• Provide expertise to Pilot Plant or Laboratories for practical development and plant operations problems.
• Lead or participate in Quality and Safety investigations.
• All other duties as assigned.
