Job summary

A leading engineering services provider in the UK is seeking a talented Senior Process Engineer to join their team. The role involves preparing and reviewing process documentation, sizing and designing equipment, and providing technical support during Factory Acceptance Tests. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Chemical Engineering and experience in regulated industries such as Oil & Gas and Chemical. Overview

Adepto are pleased to be partnered with an engineering services provider who specialise in providing equipment solutions to a range of highly regulated and hazardous industries around the world.


They are now seeking a talented and innovative Senior Process Engineer to join the team and provide process engineering support across their portfolio of clients and projects.



Responsibilities


  • Prepare and review process plant documentation, i.e., heat & mass balances, PFDs, P&IDs, basis of design documents, process calculations, functional descriptions, data sheets and cause/effect charts.

  • Sizing and design of process equipment and produce technical specifications for procurement.

  • Deliver technical support during Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).

  • Liaise with clients throughout necessary project phases.

  • Support sales activities with process engineering expertise.

  • Participate in design and safety reviews and implement recommended actions.

  • Consider all project design development activities including multi-disciplinary interface reviews, ensuring compliance with Client specifications and current regulatory standards.

  • Mentor and coach junior engineers, fostering knowledge sharing and skill development.



Requirements


  • Experienced in regulated industries such as Oil & Gas, Chemical, Petrochemical.

  • Degree-qualified preferably in chemical engineering.

  • Technically astute and confident in producing engineering calculations and using process simulation software.

  • Committed to process safety and experienced in hazard analysis techniques.

  • Knowledge and experience of commissioning activities and being able to follow design through to on site activity would be highly desirable.
