Job summary

RSE Water in the United Kingdom seeks a Senior Process Design Engineer to lead the design and development of water and wastewater treatment products. You will provide design input, develop new product designs for clients, and work within a multidisciplinary team to integrate process requirements into overall product design.

The role covers optioneering, FEED through to construction support, commissioning and As-Built, with a strong emphasis on following design standards and risk management.

Qualifications

• Experience in process design for water or wastewater projects.
• Ability to work across multiple design stages from optioneering to construction support.
• Knowledge of British Standards and Eurocodes.
• Strong problem-solving to meet client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop standardised process designs for water and wastewater products.
• Prepare process models, mass balances, equipment sizing, and performance projections.
• Preparation of PFDs.
• Preparation of Process Calculations.
• Preparation of Control Philosophies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate process requirements into product design.
• Evaluate new technologies and ensure documentation meets regulatory standards.
