Job summary

Lloyds Banking Group is modernising through cloud technology, building a fast, secure, and resilient private cloud storage platform. This Senior Storage Engineer role joins the Private Cloud Platform to support the goal of becoming the largest Fintech in the UK, with hands-on work across Hitachi, Dell EMC, IBM NetApp storage and related SAN/NAS technologies.

The role requires strong storage expertise, experience with large data migrations, and a proactive, self-starting approach within a hybrid

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Storage Engineer with expertise in cloud environments.
Expert knowledge of Storage/SAN technologies and services (Hitachi, Dell, IBM NetApp storage, Brocade, and Cisco switches).
Strong experience with storage technologies, documentation, and security considerations.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with colleagues up to exec level to deliver a cloud platform.
Lead or contribute to analysis, build, and delivery of infrastructure systems.
Work in an agile workflow using tools like JIRA to plan and track work.
Gather and interpret internal client needs and feed into product roadmaps and vision.
Follow secure-by-design principles and contribute to security and automation discussions.
Identify risks and propose mitigation steps while managing workload.
