Insite US in St Albans seeks a Private Client Tax Manager to join a growing practice. You will advise high-net-worth individuals, trusts, estates and business owners on tax matters, including compliance, planning and succession.

The role offers strong client contact, varied advisory work and clear progression. The position is permanent, hybrid with flexible working patterns, and salary is £70,000-£80,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Strong private client tax experience.
• Knowledge of personal tax, trusts, estates, IHT and CGT.
• Experience managing own client portfolio.
• Strong communication and client management skills.
• Experience reviewing tax returns and computations.
• Good organisation and time-management.
• Experience supervising or mentoring junior colleagues.
• Practical and commercial approach.
• Experience with international clients or family offices is useful.

Responsabilités

• Manage a portfolio of private clients, trusts and estates.
• Review personal, trust and estate tax returns.
• Advise on IHT, CGT, succession and estate planning.
• Support executors, trustees and professional advisers.
• Deal with HMRC enquiries, clearances and correspondence.
• Attend client meetings and provide practical advice.
• Manage deadlines, budgets and billing.
• Review work and support junior team members.
• Contribute to business development and team growth.
