Job summary

Executive Network Legal Limited is recruiting a Senior Private Client Solicitor with a strong background in trusts and estate planning to join its West Midlands team. Hybrid working is available and partnership may be offered to the right candidate.

You will handle a high-quality private client caseload, focusing on estate planning, trust creation and wealth preservation for successful business owners and high net worth individuals.

Senior Private Client Solicitor / Partner – An exciting opportunity for an experienced Private Client lawyer with a strong trusts and estate planning background to join a highly regarded team, with Partnership available for the right candidate.

A leading regional law firm is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join its established and highly regarded team.

You will ideally be a full STEP member and have a strong focus on estate planning and trusts, together with experience advising high net worth individuals, particularly successful business owners.

This is a particularly attractive opportunity for an existing Partner or Senior Associate who is looking for a clear route to Partnership, either immediately or in the relatively near future.

The Role

You will be dealing with a high-quality and varied Private Client caseload, with particular emphasis on:

• Estate and succession planning.
• Advising high net worth individuals and business owners.
• Trust creation, administration and restructuring.
• Lifetime planning and wealth preservation.
• Complex wills and estate planning matters.
• Developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Building relationships with accountants, IFAs and other professional advisers.
• Generating new business and developing your own client following.

You will join a friendly, close-knit and supportive team, with many members having been with the firm for a number of years.

The Candidate

The firm is looking for a senior Private Client practitioner with 8+ years' PQE, although applications from candidates with the right level of experience will be considered.

You will ideally:

• Be a full STEP member.
• Have a strong technical background in trusts and estate planning.
• Have significant experience advising HNW individuals and business owners.
• Be commercially minded with excellent client relationship skills.
• Have strong connections within the professional adviser community.
• Be confident in business development and generating work.
• Have the ambition to progress your career and potentially take on a leadership role.

An existing Partner or Senior Associate ready to step up will be particularly attractive.
