Job summary

The candidate should have at least 5 years' PQE in Private Client, strong knowledge of wills, trusts, and estate planning, and experience mentoring junior staff. Hybrid working options are available.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years' PQE in a reputable Private Client department.
• Demonstrable knowledge in wills, trusts, estate administration, powers of attorney, and inheritance tax planning.
• Experience supervising or mentoring junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Manage a broad caseload across the full Trusts & Estates portfolio.
• Advise clients on wills, trusts, estate administration, powers of attorney, and inheritance tax planning.
• Draft and review complex legal documents including wills and trusts.
• Handle taxable and non-taxable estate administrations.
• Supervise and mentor junior lawyers and support staff.
• Contribute to business development and departmental growth.
