Job summary

Additional Resources is seeking a Private Client Solicitor / Legal Executive to join its family, private client and property team. You will manage a varied private client caseload, support the development of the team and contribute to department performance and growth.

This office-based role offers a salary of £40,000 - £60,000 with benefits, flexible home working, workplace pension, on-site parking and generous annual leave.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with relevant private client experience.
• Approximately 5 years PQE in private client law preferred.
• Ideally STEP qualification or membership.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload covering Wills, probate and Powers of Attorney, with Court of Protection and deputyship matters where appropriate.
• Advise clients on a range of private client matters, including services for older clients.
• Maintain accurate and efficient case files in line with internal procedures, regulatory requirements and professional standards.
• Work towards agreed fee-earning and time-recording targets.
• Develop client relationships and contribute to business development and marketing activities.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members, including supporting another solicitor in developing their expertise in more complex trusts, probate and estate administration matters.
• Maintain the department’s WIQS accreditation.
