Job summary

Our Basildon-based client is a well-established law firm seeking a Private Client Solicitor (5+ PQE) to lead non-contentious Wills, Probate and Trusts work. The role requires strong drafting, client handling, and regulatory know-how within a busy Private Client team.

You will manage a varied caseload, advise on estates, and contribute to departmental development while delivering high-quality service to clients and professionals in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years PQE in Private Client law.
• Experience with Wills, Probate and Trusts.
• Excellent drafting and client service skills.
• Ability to manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision.
• Strong regulatory and compliance awareness.

Responsibilities

• Manage a full Private Client caseload independently.
• Advise on Wills, Probate, Estate Administration and Trusts.
• Draft Wills, LPAs and related documents.
• Handle estate administration from start to finish.
• Maintain accurate case records and comply with procedures.
• Provide high standards of client care and assist junior team members.
