Job summary

Oculus Legal Group in Blackheath seeks a Senior Private Client Solicitor with strong experience in wills, LPAs, probate, and estates. The role offers hybrid working (3 days in the office / 2 days at home) and flexible part-time arrangements for the right candidate, with an opportunity to manage a varied caseload.

You will advise on wills, LPAs, probate, trusts, and Court of Protection matters, building lasting relationships with clients and their families while delivering high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Must have private client experience including wills, LPAs, probate and estate administration.
• Excellent client care and communication skills.
• Ability to manage matters independently and work with elderly clients.

The role offers a varied caseload within a supportive team, with flexibility around part-time for the right candidate.

The Role

• Wills and estate planning
• Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Probate and estate administration
• Trusts and Court of Protection matters
• Managing a varied caseload from instruction to completion
• Building strong relationships with clients and their families

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer with relevant Private Client experience
• Ideally 10+ years' PQE, although candidates with 5-6+ years' relevant experience will be considered
• Strong experience across Wills, LPAs, Probate and Estate Administration
• Excellent client care and communication skills
• Friendly and approachable, with experience working with elderly clients
• Able to manage matters independently
