Job description

My client is a highly respected law firm, established near New Malden, Surrey. Due to ongoing growth, they are now seeking a Senior Private Client Solicitor (4+ years PQE) to join their team.

Position Overview:

• Overseeing junior members of the Private Client Team (currently 3 fee earners plus support staff)
• Drafting Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and Declarations of Trust
• Dealing with Trust Administration and estate administration
• Providing tax advice to a range of clients
• Managing your own caseload & reporting to team leads
• Providing legal advice to clients in stressful situations
• Keeping up to date with legal changes
• Maintaining and nurturing existing client relationships while developing new ones
• Maintaining organized and up-to-date files, adhering to firm policies

Position Requirements:

• 4+ years PQE Private Client Solicitor
• Excellent communication skills and commitment
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and able to work under pressure
• Experience in managing your own caseload
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic

Position Remuneration:

• Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm
• Competitive annual leave
• Hybrid working (generally 1 day at home per week)
