Job summary

QED Legal LLP in Dundee is seeking an experienced Private Client lawyer at Associate to Legal Director level to take on an influential role within a highly regarded Dundee team.

You’ll handle a high-quality caseload advising individuals on complex executries, trusts, inheritance tax, estate and succession planning and wider private wealth matters, working closely with Partners and mentoring junior colleagues.

Qualifications

• Strong Private Client experience with complex matters.
• Experience with trusts, inheritance tax planning, and high-value executries.
• Ambitious to influence practice development and mentor juniors.
• STEP qualification or progression towards it.
• Able to manage matters independently yet collaborate with Partners.

Responsibilities

• Handle a high-quality and varied caseload advising on executries, trusts, IHT, estate planning and wider private wealth matters.
• Lead more complex matters and support Partners.
• Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to business development.
• Develop the team and build client relationships.
