About the Company

We are looking for a Senior Principal Structural Engineering Manager to head up the division, based in the North West of England.

About the Role

Responsible for engineering scope projects, studies, and bids, ensuring compliance, resource management, and engaging in customer-facing activities. Strong written communication, presentation skills, and project delivery experience are required. BEng (Hons) in engineering (preferably Civil or Structural) and chartered status (CEng, ICE, or IStructE) are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the division.
  • Conduct studies and bids.
  • Ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
  • Oversee resource management.
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Chartered (CEng, MIStructE) or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in the Civil/Structural sector.
  • At least 5 years in a leadership role.

Required Skills

  • Knowledge of construction and process industries.
  • Proficiency in STAAD and TEKLA software.
  • Experience managing a team.

Preferred Skills

  • Additional certifications relevant to the field.
  • Experience with project management software.
