A little more about your role…

• Promote and maintain safe working practices in the office and whilst on site
• Ability to self-manage tasks, projects, time, and project delivery
• Daily management of allocated projects and discipline team
• Provide/assist with mentoring and guidance
• Discipline project delivery of technical deliverables, maintaining budget and program
• Assist with in-house training for team
• Assist with team resources and planning of resourcing for future projects
• Maintain good engineering practice, delivery, and performance

What we are looking for you to demonstrate…

• Ability to lead discipline teams on projects, maintain budget and program, report progress, and assist with solving project issues.
• Ability to maintain online Resource Forecast Tool to reflect current and future project resources. Demonstrated experience in CRE and/or PE roles with in-depth knowledge of Telecoms SISS and OpsComs.
• Good history of delivering Engineering Stages 3-5 and 6-7 (advantageous).
• Knowledge of Network Rail CR-T, identifying deliverables, and managing/leading Telecoms team for project delivery. Experience in Telecoms.
• Previous experience leading design and/or PE roles
• Professional membership
• Good working knowledge of Rail SISS and OpsComs
• Experience with multi-discipline design and interfaces related to Telecoms design
• Experience in budget, scope, and program delivery
• Mentoring and development skills for discipline engineers
• Proficiency in OneNote, Word, and Excel
• Experience in authoring technical documentation and design packages
• Ability to provide technical guidance and reference engineering design standards
• Ability to identify business opportunities and develop strategies
