The successful candidate will be confident managing structural engineering projects from initial concept through to detailed design, construction and completion. You will work with a high degree of autonomy, oversee project delivery and provide technical guidance to colleagues where required.
Applicants should hold a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and have at least four years’ experience working on building structures projects within a UK engineering consultancy. Strong technical knowledge across the traditional construction materials is essential, together with the ability to produce accurate and well-presented structural calculations.
The role would suit a commercially aware and forward-thinking engineer with a creative approach to design, excellent communication skills and the confidence to represent the business when dealing with clients, architects and other members of the design team.
