Job summary

Actemium Design, part of VINCI Energies, is inviting applications from experienced Senior and Principal Process Engineers for UK projects across nuclear, energy, chemical processing and heavy industry. You will influence decisions from concept to detailed design and work within a supportive, high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification in chemical or process engineering or equivalent.
• Extensive experience in regulated process design and delivery.
• Proficient with process engineering software (Aspen HYSYS) and CAD tools (AutoCAD).
• Solid understanding of UK and international standards and best practice.
• Proven ability to produce and validate PFDs, P&IDs, datasheets and calculations.
• Excellent communication and team-mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support high-value process engineering design solutions (PFDs, P&IDs, heat and mass balances).
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated, compliant solutions.
• Apply process engineering principles to design safe, cost-effective processes.
• Perform calculations, modelling and simulations to verify performance.
• Participate in HAZOPs, LOPA, safety and constructability reviews.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and contribute to a high-performing team.
• Prepare and update technical documentation, proposals, procurement specs, and client reports.
