Job summary

Rocket Software is seeking a Senior Principal Architect to define the DataEdge platform strategy and align roadmaps with product management and engineering. You will drive cross-product architecture decisions, promote reusable services, and lead cloud-native, AI-enabled innovations across the portfolio.

You will collaborate with executives and engineers to shape strategic investments and ensure interoperability across diverse environments. 5–10% travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience defining architecture and technology strategy across multiple enterprise products.
• Strong expertise in LLMs, agentic systems, MCP, retrieval architectures, and responsible AI patterns.
• Demonstrated delivery of AI-enabled product capabilities and AI engineering practices.
• Deep expertise in cloud-native architecture, containers, Kubernetes, distributed systems.
• Experience building shared platforms, services, APIs, or reusable frameworks.
• Proven partnership with Product Management on strategy, roadmaps, and investment decisions.
• Ability to lead cross-product initiatives and influence without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Define the DataEdge platform strategy and translate business priorities into a shared multi-product roadmap.
• Build alignment across Product and Engineering teams balancing product needs and platform objectives.
• Identify shared platform opportunities and drive architectural decisions across Rocket portfolios.
• Drive reusable services, APIs, frameworks, and consolidate overlapping technologies.
• Lead cloud-native deployment strategies, scalability, observability, security, and ops excellence.
• Oversee AI platform capabilities adoption and intelligent automation across DataEdge.
• Partner withProduct teams to prioritize AI capabilities with customer value.
• Represent the DataEdge technology vision to executives and partners.
