Job title: Senior/Principal Mechanical Engineer

Location: Coventry. This is an onsite position

What you’ll be doing:

Joining a newly formed Mechanical Engineering team in Coventry, supporting the design and development of systems for Nuclear Submarines, specifically the SSN AUKUS.

• Lead and develop mechanical systems, equipment, and components
• Build relationships with suppliers to meet specifications
• Collaborate with customers to develop requirements and acceptance criteria
• Perform and review engineering calculations to demonstrate system performance
• Coordinate with stakeholders to solve engineering problems

Your skills and experiences:

• Background in Rotator Machinery, Components, or Fluid Dynamics
• Experience across product lifecycle stages
• Ability to prioritize and work within a team
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Degree in Engineering, Mechanical, or Science
• Leadership or mentoring experience
