Job summary

Ramboll in the UK is seeking a Senior Landscape Planner to join a growing team of landscape architects and planners. Based in Edinburgh or Glasgow with hybrid or flexible arrangements, you will lead landscape inputs across wind farms, solar, data centre and urban development projects, collaborating with environmental and engineering specialists.

You will prepare robust deliverables, inform design approaches, mentor junior colleagues and coordinate with clients and stakeholders to deliver

Qualifications

• Master’s or postgraduate qualification in landscape architecture or related discipline (Landscape Institute-accredited preferred).
• Chartered Membership or equivalent professional accreditation preferred.
• Experience in landscape architecture planning, especially wind farm projects, is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate landscape inputs for defined project workstreams, ensuring high-quality, technically accurate outputs.
• Apply specialist landscape knowledge to analyse information, identify issues and develop robust solutions.
• Undertake research, data collection, site visits, technical photography and landscape assessments.
• Prepare written, graphic and presentation materials for design and environmental reports.
• Lead or contribute to client, stakeholder and multidisciplinary project meetings.
• Mentor junior colleagues and collaborate with internal teams, clients and external consultants.
• Manage workload with limited supervision and contribute to proposals and tenders.
• Use professional standards and software to improve project delivery, efficiency and quality.
