Job summary

Ramboll is seeking a Senior/Principal Landscape Planner with LVIA experience to join our national landscape and environment teams in the UK. Role based in Edinburgh or Glasgow, with flexibility to discuss other locations.

You will lead landscape inputs for defined workstreams, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and mentor junior colleagues while delivering robust assessments for wind, solar, data centres, and urban projects across the UK and abroad.

Qualifications

• Master’s or postgraduate qualification in landscape architecture or a related discipline.
• Chartered Membership of the Landscape Institute, or equivalent accreditation, preferred.
• Experience in landscape architecture, planning and assessment, with wind farm exposure.
• Ability to lead and coordinate landscape inputs for defined project workstreams.
• Solid knowledge of industry standards and professional practice.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills for robust solutions.
• Experience producing clear written, graphic and presentation materials.
• Excellent English communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate landscape inputs for defined project workstreams.
• Apply specialist landscape knowledge to analyse information and develop robust solutions.
• Undertake site visits, landscape assessments and data collection.
• Prepare clear written, graphic and presentation materials for reports.
• Lead or contribute to client and stakeholder meetings.

• Use software to improve project delivery and quality.
