Job summary

Ramboll is seeking a Senior Landscape Planner to join our Edinburgh or Glasgow team. You will lead landscape inputs, collaborate with environmental and engineering specialists, and deliver robust outputs for wind farms, solar, and urban development projects across the UK and internationally.

You will work within Ramboll's large in‑house team, mentoring colleagues and developing creative, sustainable solutions.

Qualifications

• Master’s or postgraduate qualification in landscape architecture (preferred LI-accredited).
• Chartered Membership of the Landscape Institute or equivalent accreditation preferred.
• Experience in landscape architecture, planning and assessment, with wind farm exposure desirable.
• Ability to lead and coordinate landscape inputs for defined project workstreams.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards and technical guidance.
• Excellent English communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate landscape inputs for defined project workstreams, ensuring high‑quality outputs.
• Apply specialist landscape knowledge to analyse information and develop robust solutions.
• Undertake site visits, landscape assessments and data collection.
• Prepare clear written, graphic and presentation materials for reports.
• Lead or contribute to client and stakeholder meetings.
• Mentor junior colleagues and manage workload with limited supervision.
