Location: Rickmansworth with hybrid working available

Rate Guide: £65-80k (Neg DOE) plus car allowance, bonus (role dependent) and excellent benefits package

Our Client: An integrated design and build provider working in the water sector, supporting multiple frameworks with over 1,000 staff across eight regional centres.

The Role: Seeking a Senior or Principal Electrical Engineer based at the Thames Water region (Maple Lodge office). You will report to the Regional Discipline Lead (EICA) and work on water and wastewater schemes valued around £400M.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Producing cost-effective EICA design deliverables that meet specifications and can be effectively constructed and commissioned.
2. Ensuring standard practices are utilized, maintaining competitiveness, and providing estimates for proposals.
3. Developing, monitoring, and reviewing procedures to ensure departmental efficiency.
4. Coordinating designs across disciplines and maintaining comprehensive records.
5. Supervising staff, ensuring safety, environmental, and health standards are met, and promoting customer satisfaction.

Experience required:

• Deep knowledge of EICA Design Deliverables (Single Line Diagrams, Cable Block Diagrams, MCC Designs, Control and Instrumentation specifications).
• Understanding of water and sewage treatment systems.
• Experience managing design staff in relevant disciplines.
• Membership of a professional institution / Incorporated status.
• Relevant engineering qualification.
• Ability to produce economic plant layouts and a broad knowledge of water treatment aspects.
• Strong presentation skills, computer literacy, and a valid driving license.
