Senior/Principal Ecologist

Access has partnered up with a successful multi-disciplinary environmental consultancy with 13 offices throughout the UK, employing approximately 500 staff. They deliver solutions to challenging problems in Mining & Minerals, Infrastructure & Utilities and Property & Development. Their international ESG team continues to grow into an ever-changing and evolving market. This role is an opportunity to input into the current work-load and help to shape the future of the ESG team as we continue to explore new markets and jurisdictions.

You will work on a diverse workload delivering projects for the public and private sectors across the UK including exciting infrastructure and renewables projects. You will be responsible for growing, managing, and mentoring an ecological team, plus have strong technical ability and be able to lead and mentor and develop business. You will have previous experience working with bats and be confident in planning and undertaking habitat surveys.

Minimum Requirements:

• Full membership of CIEEM (or working towards)
• Previous experience leading a team
• Protected species licenses (Ideally Bats)
• 5+ years experience in Ecology
• Right to live and work in the UK
• Full UK Driver License
