About the role

In this role, you will be working alongside a diverse and highly experienced team on a range of high-profile projects. You will be responsible for the assessment and design of Highway and Highway Drainage engineering projects, ensuring compliance with relevant design standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct assessment and design of Highway and Highway Drainage engineering projects
• Utilize software such as AutoCAD, Civils 3D, and MicroDrainage to produce accurate designs
• Ensure compliance with design standards and regulations, including DMRB and CDM
• Collaborate with project teams to deliver successful outcomes
• Contribute to the development of the company's overall skillset and competencies
• Support work winning activities and act as a brand ambassador for the company
• Provide technical support and expertise to internal teams and clients
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments

Job Requirements

• HND or degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent work experience
• Extensive experience with software such as AutoCAD, Civils 3D, MicroDrainage, KeySign, KeyLine, and Microsoft applications
• Technical knowledge and experience in the assessment and design of Highway and Highway Drainage engineering projects
• Familiarity with pavement materials and design of road improvement schemes
• Experience with design standards and regulations including DMRB, TSRGD, LCDS, MfS2, and Traffic Signs Manual
• Knowledge of CDM regulations and its application in scheme delivery
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Chartered or nearing chartered with a relevant professional body
