Job Description:

Job summary: Looking for a Senior Drainage/Highway Engineer to join one of our clients in Southwark to work on some exciting projects.

Key skills required for this role:

• HND or degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent work experience
• Extensive experience with AutoCAD, Civils 3D, MicroDrainage, KeySign, KeyLine, Microsoft applications
• Technical knowledge in assessment and design of Highway and Highway Drainage projects
• Knowledge of pavement materials, design, and detailing of road improvement schemes (DMRB)
• Experience with S104, S106 packages, Section 278 and 38 for highway adoptions
• Understanding of design standards like DMRB, TSRGD, LCDS, MfS2, Traffic Signs Manual
• Knowledge of CDM regulations
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Desirable skills:

• SuDs design experience
• Principal designer experience
• Highway design experience
• Chartered or nearing chartered status with a relevant professional institution
