We're working with a fast-growing, private equity-backed consultancy that has rapidly expanded across the UK and Europe through strategic acquisitions. With a growing team and a strong presence in sectors such as construction, healthcare, education, and manufacturing, this is an exciting opportunity to join a business that's shaping the future of risk management. Due to recent growth and internal changes, they're now seeking a confident and experienced Senior Principal Designer & CDM Advisor to join their London team and hit the ground running.
The Senior Principal Designer & CDM Advisor will be responsible for:
- Leading and delivering CDM consultancy services across a wide range of construction projects, from refurbishments to new builds.
- Acting as Principal Designer and CDM Advisor in line with CDM 2015 regulations.
- Managing client relationships and providing expert guidance throughout all RIBA stages.
- Supporting legal compliance, risk mitigation, and health & safety best practices.
- Mentoring junior team members and contributing to the development of internal systems.
- Representing the business in adjudication, mediation, and litigation proceedings when required.
The Senior Principal Designer & CDM Advisor will have:
- 5 to 10 years' experience in CDM roles, ideally with exposure to high-value and complex projects.
- A NEBOSH Construction Certificate (minimum) and working towards or holding CMIOSH status.
- A professional, client-facing demeanour with strong communication and presentation skills.
- A stable career history and the ability to manage projects independently from day one.
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality consultancy.
- Experience working across sectors and confidence engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
