FM Conway is recruiting for a skilled and driven CDM Advisor to join our dynamic Consultancy division. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring we consistently meet our statutory responsibilities under the Construction, Design, and Management Regulations by coordinating desk risk reviewing meetings and maintaining the associated design risk register. This is a full-time, permanent position, based at our Head Office in Sevenoaks, Kent.

The duties of the CDM Advisor will include:

1. Applying the principles of prevention to identify and eliminate hazards and control foreseeable risks.
2. Ensuring all designers, internally and externally, are competent under CDM regulations.
3. Developing compliance reports, building and maintaining excellent relationships with clients.
4. Assisting with procedural development and training rollouts.
5. Visiting sites to monitor progress and ensure health and safety compliance.
6. Compiling pre-construction information to highlight safety-critical data.
7. Calculating hours needed for Principal Design roles per project and updating clients accordingly.

What skills and experience do you need?

We seek a qualified CDM Advisor with experience in the highways sector. You should have at least an HNC or equivalent NVQ level 4 in civil engineering. Holding a Health and Safety qualification such as NEBOSH and a full UK driving licence is essential.
