Principal Engineer - Rail Civils & Structures

Glasgow

I'm currently working with a growing, employee-owned engineering consultancy to recruit a Principal Engineer for their Glasgow office. This is an excellent opportunity for a Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer with strong rail infrastructure experience and proven CRE capability who is looking to take on a senior leadership role within a growing business. The company delivers a diverse portfolio of rail infrastructure projects, alongside work across transportation, energy, heavy civil engineering and structural sectors. You'll play a key role in leading project delivery, developing client relationships, mentoring engineers and supporting future growth.

The Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the design and delivery of major rail civils and structures projects

About You

• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams


• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills


• Commercial awareness and experience delivering profitable projects


• Experience working with Network Rail standards and NEC contracts would be beneficial.
