Job summary

Xodus Group in the United Kingdom is seeking Senior and Principal Engineers to join the Advanced Analysis Team within the Subsea and Marine Division. The role focuses on finite element analysis using Abaqus and Python to deliver advanced solutions for offshore pipelines, cables and interconnectors.

You will mentor less experienced engineers, adapt to changing project scopes, and contribute to a collaborative, high‑performance culture in a flexible hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• MEng or PhD in Civil, Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering, or Mathematical disciplines.
• Relevant finite element analysis and coding experience.
• Practical experience in offshore pipeline, cable and interconnectors industry; progression to senior levels.
• Proficient experience with Abaqus and Python.
• Mentor/coaching experience of junior engineers.
• Adaptable and agile to deliver across multiple projects.
• Strong communication to summarise key drivers clearly.
