Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an accomplished engineer to lead advanced FE analysis for offshore pipelines, cables and interconnectors. You will use Abaqus and Python to pre- and post-process simulations and contribute to data science initiatives.

The role includes mentoring junior engineers, delivering engineering solutions to clients, and collaborating within a global consulting team to meet tight deadlines across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• MEng or PhD in Civil, Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering, or Mathematical disciplines.
• Proficient and well-developed experience using Abaqus and Python.
• Relevant finite element analysis and coding experience.
• Practical offshore pipeline, cable and interconnectors industry experience sufficient to progress to senior levels.

Requirements

• First-class communication skills and ability to summarise key drivers succinctly
