Job summary

AUREOS INFRASTRUCTURE SERVICES LIMITED is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project P6 Planner to lead the scheduling of complex infrastructure projects using Primavera P6. The role involves developing, maintaining, and optimizing schedules to ensure on-time delivery and efficient resource usage.

You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders, perform critical path analysis, prepare regular schedule reports, and mentor junior planners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in project planning and scheduling for large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Expert-level proficiency in Primavera P6 Professional (P6 EPPM is a plus).
• Demonstrated experience developing, managing, and analyzing complex project schedules.
• Strong knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Certifications such as PMP or PMI-SP are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project timelines and milestones.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather data for schedule development and updates.
• Conduct critical path analysis, identify delays, and propose mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
• Prepare and present schedule reports, progress updates, and variance analyses to project teams and senior management.
• Lead scheduling meetings and resolve scheduling conflicts through effective communication.
• Implement and maintain scheduling procedures and best practices.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior planners as required.
• Perform resource loading and leveling within Primavera P6 to optimize resource utilization.
• Support the development of project baselines and monitor performance against them.
• Assist in risk management by identifying scheduling-related risks and developing contingency plans.
