Job summary

Walsgrave Church of England Academy in Coventry is recruiting a Senior Cover Supervisor to join our supportive team. This temporary, term-time post offers 30 hours per week and a Grade 5 pro rata salary.

You will deliver effective classroom support, work with primary pupils, uphold safeguarding standards and contribute to a safe, nurturing environment aligned with our faith-based values.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic and inspiring with excellent classroom management skills.
• Experience working with and supporting primary aged pupils.
• Ability to promote positive values and attitudes in the classroom.
• Understanding safeguarding responsibilities and child protection needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide enthusiastic classroom support and supervision.
• Support learning activities and pupils during lessons and transitions.
• Uphold safeguarding policies and maintain a safe learning environment.
• Participate in safeguarding training and follow local policies and procedures.
