Job summary

NHS Jobs in Rugby is seeking a Senior Primary Care Nurse to join the Primary Care Team at HMP Onley. This category C prison houses around 980 men and is expanding with three new blocks. You will undertake medication rounds, dispense controlled medication, respond to emergencies and assess patients.

The role is full-time (37.5 hours weekly) with shifts across weekdays, weekends and Bank Holidays. The salary ranges from £43,609 to £49,175 per year, depending on experience.

HMP Onley is a male prison with a current population of approximately 980 men. The establishment is undergoing expansion, with three new house blocks planned to accommodate an additional 150 men. As a Senior Primary Care Nurse, you will undertake medication rounds, dispense controlled medication, attend emergency response situations, assess patients, and undertake reception screening.

• Weekdays - 7.30am - 6.30pm / 7.30am
• Weekends and BH - 8am - 6pm
• 4 week rolling rota

Salary This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary between £43,609 - £49,175 per annum - depending on experience.
