Job summary

Zego is hiring a Head of Pricing - Insurance to lead the insurer’s technical view of pricing models, including actuarial risk models, demand and market models, and AI-driven approaches.

You will join a small but influential actuarial team, validate modelling decisions end-to-end, and work with MGA pricing teams, underwriting, and co-insurers to drive pricing strategy across personal and commercial motor.

Qualifications

• AT LEAST TEN YEARS HANDS-ON MODELLING EXPERIENCE IN PRICING.
• STRONG ACTUARIAL BACKGROUND WITH PRACTICAL RISK MODELLING.
• EXPERIENCE WITH MODERN AI/ML APPROACHES IN PRICING IS A PLUS.

Responsibilities

• Lead the insurer’s technical view across all pricing models and validate outputs.
• Collaborate with underwriting and portfolio management to align pricing.
• Independently validate actuarial risk models behind net rates.
• Engage with MGA pricing teams, underwriters, and co-insurers.
• Mentor junior actuarial colleagues and help build governance and tooling.
