Eames Consulting is partnering with a leading global insurer to hire a qualified Pricing Actuary. You will price and review complex commercial and specialty risks, partner with underwriters, and enhance pricing models while delivering analytics to senior stakeholders.

The role focuses on modernising pricing capabilities through automation, governance, and strategic pricing initiatives, requiring strong actuarial credentials and commercial influence.

Qualifications

• Qualified actuary with FIA/FCAS or equivalent.
• Pricing experience in commercial, specialty or reinsurance.
• Strong understanding of pricing techniques and portfolio analytics.

Responsibilities

• Price and review complex commercial and specialty insurance risks.
• Partner with underwriters to support risk selection and profitability.
• Maintain pricing methodologies, rating tools and actuarial models.
• Deliver portfolio monitoring, planning and performance analysis.
• Produce management information, dashboards and insights for senior stakeholders.
• Support pricing governance, model validation and documentation.
• Drive pricing process automation and innovative analytics.
• Contribute to pricing systems, data infrastructure and underwriting transformation.
• Provide actuarial guidance across initiatives.
