Allianz UK is seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst to join the Non-Standard Motor Portfolio team in London on a hybrid basis. You will leverage insurance market knowledge to develop and implement rating proposals that support business objectives and underwriting performance.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out and supporting the team to deliver pricing analysis.
• Supporting the delivery of technical projects to improve underwriting performance against common technical modelling standards and adherence to data controls.
• Supporting with defining, and reporting on status of project work and rate reviews / analysis to support product and pricing development.
• Supporting manager in Pricing meetings through presenting and contributing to outcomes.
• Analysing data, interpreting outputs and communicating results to a non-technical audience.

We have a new opportunity for a Senior Pricing Analyst to join our Non-Standard Motor Portfolio team in London on a hybrid basis.

You will use your insurance market knowledge and pricing expertise to develop and implement rating proposals that enable us to deliver on our business objectives. We work closely with the wider Broker business to manage our Trading performance and with our Technical Excellence Pricing colleagues, so building and maintaining strong relationships is key to us achieving our goals.

Salary Information

Pay: Circa £50,000 per year.

Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.

About You

• Carrying out and supporting the team to deliver pricing analysis
• Supporting the delivery of technical projects to improve underwriting performance against common technical modelling standards and adherence to data controls
• Supporting with defining, and reporting on status of project work and rate reviews / analysis to support product and pricing development
• Supporting manager in Pricing meetings through presenting and contributing to outcomes
• Analysing data, interpreting outputs and communicating results to a non-technical audience

Essential Skills

• Personal lines pricing experience
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in data analysis and statistical modelling tools (e.g. SQL, Python, Databricks)
• Good understanding of the various elements of the price we set
• Knowledge of relevant statistical modelling methods
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Desirable Skills

• Experience utilising WTW Radar
• Responsible Artificial Intelligence usage
