Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent.

• Full UK driving licence and own hand tools; extensive experience with VAG, Porsche, or JLR brands.

Responsibilities

• Lead on the shop floor taking ownership of complex electrical and mechanical faults.
• Provide technical guidance and diagnose advanced issues across prestige brands.
• Mentor junior technicians to develop expertise and maintain quality.

Pay & Benefits

• Salary: Up to £45,000 basic per annum (reliably based on your technical expertise and experience)
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, plus only 1 Saturday morning a month (Flexible)

Role Overview

Seeking an experienced Senior Prestige Technician & Diagnostic Specialist to join our premier independent workshop team in Harpenden. You will act as the technical lead on the shop floor, taking complete ownership of complex electrical and mechanical faults across prestigious VAG, Porsche, and Jaguar Land Rover marques.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent technical qualification).
• Proven track record as a Senior, Master, or Diagnostic Technician with expert mechanical and electrical skills.
• Independent problem-solving mindset and a collaborative approach to mentoring junior team members.
• Full UK driving licence & own hand tools (extensive experience with VAG, Porsche, or JLR brands is essential).
