Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD in Southampton seeks a Prestige Service Technician & Car Mechanic to join our premier independent workshop. You will execute manufacturer-standard servicing, carry out multi-point health checks, and perform routine wear-and-tear maintenance across top-tier VAG, Porsche, and Jaguar Land Rover marques.

A keen eye for detail and a solid track record are essential, with a Full UK driving licence and your own hand tools required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent.
• Proven track record as a Service Mechanic/Technician with attention to detail.
• Foundational knowledge of routine maintenance, inspections and fault-code scanning.
• Full UK driving licence and own hand tools; experience with VAG, Porsche or JLR is a plus.

Pay & Benefits

• Salary: Up to £35,000 basic per annum (reliably based on your actual hands-on experience)
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Role Overview

Requirements

• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent technical qualification).
• Proven track record as a Service Mechanic / Technician with keen attention to detail.
• Solid foundational knowledge of routine maintenance, inspections, and basic fault-code scanning.
• Full UK driving licence & own hand tools (experience with VAG, Porsche, or JLR brands is a great plus!).
