Job summary

PT Renewables is seeking a Pre-Construction Manager to join the Bristol team in a hybrid, permanent role. You will own the tender process end-to-end, price and submit bids, and work closely with directors to shape winning proposals for a varied M&E project portfolio.

The successful candidate will have a solid mechanical engineering background with hands-on pre-construction or estimating experience, be adept at reading drawings and contract docs, and manage multiple tenders to tight deadlines

Qualifications

• Solid mechanical engineering background and hands-on pre-construction or estimating experience in M&E.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specs.
• Experience reviewing contract documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders with deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full tender process from enquiry through submission.
• Write and coordinate bid and PQQ responses.
• Assess technical viability and identify buildability or design concerns.
• Carry out mechanical take-offs from drawings and specs.
• Provide input into pricing and submission documents.
• Ensure clear handover of pre-construction information to delivery team.
• Keep records of tender activity, pipeline and outcomes.
• Support go/no-go decisions with early cost and programme input.
• Report to Director on bid status and commercial matters.
