Job summary

Responsibilities

The postholder will be an expert in radiotherapy CT scanning.
This role supports the Pre-treatment lead with managing and leading the team of radiographers who treat cancer patients using radiotherapy.
It makes sure treatments are done safely and correctly, following national rules.
It helps train and support staff, sharing expert knowledge and solving problems.
It checks that equipment works well and helps bring in new technology.
It talks with patients and families to explain treatments and give support.
