Job summary

Boomi is seeking a Senior Solution Engineer (Pre-Sales) for the UK & Ireland region. You will partner with sales to tailor Boomi solutions across integration, API management, automation, and AI capabilities, shaping client strategies and demonstrations for enterprise opportunities.

You will navigate complex enterprise environments, mentor junior consultants, and ensure solutions align with customer objectives and roadmaps.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Experience in a client-facing, enterprise solution consulting or pre-sales role.
Experience working with business process automation, integration, and data management.
Track record in large, complex deals lasting 9+ months.
Experience in vendor-based pre-sales within iPaaS, integration, or API management.
Hands-on API management concepts (design, gateway patterns, security).
Familiarity with AI/GenAI in integration and automation.
Ability to design, optimize, and demo workflows and solution architectures.
Experience running technical workshops for non-technical audiences.
Strong stakeholder management with internal and external teams.

Responsibilities

Run discovery calls and workshops to understand client requirements across integration, automation, and API use cases.
Design tailored Boomi-based solutions and demonstrate through demos/PoCs.
Act as platform expert, guiding customers on alignment of integration, API management, and AI capabilities with business goals.
Bridge technical and business conversations, translate concepts for non-technical stakeholders, and gather feedback.
