Barnardo's Moving Mindsets – Mental Health Support Teams (MHST) in South Cumbria is seeking a Senior Practitioner to join a therapeutic service for children and young people in education settings. The role covers South Cumbria and North Lancashire with bases in Kendal or Barrow, requiring 37 hours per week and a salary of £36,276.

You will deliver evidence-based mental health interventions, provide therapeutic support to young people and families, and work in partnership with education settings.

Qualifications

• Mental health professional with direct experience of evidence-based therapies in child mental health.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mental health support across educational settings.
• Provide therapeutic support to children, young people and parent-carers.
• Work in partnership with education settings.
• Line management and clinical supervision within the MHST team.
• Work across South Cumbria and North Lancashire, with service base at Kendal or Barrow locations.
