A leading community service in Horsham seeks a Senior Practitioner Psychologist or Senior CBT Therapist for a part-time role in their mental health service. We are hoping to appoint a Senior Practitioner Psychologist or Senior CBT Therapist to our level two in-patient adult mental mental service in Horsham. The post is for three days a week and may also suit a newly qualified or soon-to-be qualified practitioner psychologist on a preceptorship basis.
You will be working with a highly resourced MDT including a Principal Psychologist providing a range of direct and indirect evidence-based approaches to our service users.
You will be working alongside alongside a Principal Practitioner Psychologist in providing a range of interventions including schema therapy, CBT, EMDR and Behavioural and Systemic Family interventions.
The post holder will work as part of a MDT supporting service users through assessment, formulation and delivering long-term evidence-based interventions to service users.
The successful candidate will join a friendly, highly-skilled and enthusiastic community of psychologists in the Forensic subdivision of the Specialist Services Division. 78 Crawley Road, whilst not a forensic service, sits under the forensic leadership structures.

The forensic services provide CPD opportunities including training in the HCR-20, EMDR, schema therapy and behavioural family therapy.
Our Trust has an exciting range of CPD opportunities and the post-holder will be encouraged to develop special interests and expertise in line with service and team objectives. We have set up a newly qualified peer support group and the Trust is focused on developing staff wellbeing initiatives.
You will be working as part of MDT, providing specialist assessments, formulations and interventions.
