We are seeking a Band 8a Senior Psychological Therapist (Clinical Psychologist) with a 0.5 WTE role as a Clinical Tutor on the UCL Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. This split post involves 0.5 WTE in Islington Talking Therapies and 0.5 WTE with UCL.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience working with individuals with common mental health issues in primary care, with some management and leadership experience preferred. Responsibilities include service coordination, supervision, line management, service development, and offering a range of interventions such as CBT, EMDR, IPT, DIT, BCT, and Counselling. The role also involves supervising junior colleagues and providing training and consultation to clinical staff.
The successful candidate will work part-time with UCL as a Clinical Tutor, involved in teaching, monitoring trainee progress, research supervision, and trainee development. The role emphasizes compassionate leadership and staff wellbeing.
