Job summary

South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Practitioner Psychologist or Psychological Therapist to join the Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) service at Sunderland Royal Hospital as part of the MDT.

You will conduct advanced assessment and treatment, influence development of specialist interventions, and participate in professional development with clinical supervision.

Qualifications

• Honours degree in Psychology or equivalent.
• Post-graduate Doctorate in Clinical/Counselling Psychology HCPC registration.
• Advanced training in CBT or CAT with BABCP/ACAT accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist psychological assessment and treatment for individuals referred to the CFS service.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team.
• Contribute to development and evaluation of specialist interventions for CFS.
