Family Help is Birmingham Children’s Trust’s integrated approach to supporting children and families earlier, reducing unnecessary handovers between services and promoting collaborative, trauma-informed and strengths-based practice. The service works within local communities to ensure children receive the right help at the right time.
The Family Help Team is seeking an experienced and motivated Social Worker to join our Edgbaston District Team. You will work directly with children, young people and families who require support through Child in Need planning, statutory assessments and targeted interventions. Working within Birmingham Children’s Trust’s Connections Count practice framework, you will undertake relationship-based social work, ensuring the child’s voice remains central to assessment, planning and intervention.
