Job summary

Leeds City Council in Leeds is seeking an Advanced Practitioner in Children and Families to provide a high‑quality social work service and manage a complex caseload within a restorative practice framework.

You will support the Team Manager, mentor colleagues, and collaborate with local health and third sector partners, with opportunities for flexible/hybrid working and a relocation package for eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• Requires DipSW, Degree, CQSW or equivalent and registration with Social Work England.
• Practice Educator Level 2 on commencement.
• Extensive post-qualifying experience in Children and Families.

Responsibilities

• Manage the most complex caseload with a child-centred approach.
• Provide supervision and mentorship to junior social workers.
• Lead and participate in planning and review meetings.
• Collaborate with local health and third sector partners.
