Join Darlington Borough Council's Assessment and Safeguarding Service and become part of an experienced team making a real difference to the lives of children and families. The service comprises five dedicated Assessment & Safeguarding Teams within the borough. Your responsibilities will include handling child and family assessments, supporting Child in Need, Child Protection, Looked After Children, and managing care proceedings. We adopt a relational and restorative practice model to support our community. The role involves 37 hours per week, with TOIL available for additional hours.
