Job description

Role: Senior Practitioner
Location: Fife
Service: Autism Support
Salary: 32,000 - 37,000

Reporting to the Services Manager, this role is to support practitioner teams to deliver high quality support to autistic individuals.

Key Responsibilities:
To lead and develop both autism services and team practitioners to deliver the highest quality of support in line with Care Inspectorate and SSSC
Ensure a supported care environment, meeting each individuals care needs and health and social care standards.
Staff management - ensure staff are trained to be able to achieve short term and long term objectives, rotas, disciplinaries where necessary, identify areas for improvement and contribute in 1:1 meetings
Provide on call support
Financial management and budget monitoring
Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Carry out audits

Requirements/Experience
SVQ3 minimum in Health and Social Care (and/or willingness to work towards) Leadership and Management certificate
A strong understanding and knowledge of autism
Experience in management or a team leader role
Rota management
IT skills
