We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and their families. Key Requirements
  • Coach and mentor less experienced team members as a Practice Educator.

  • Deputise for the Team Manager when required, including responsibilities for all key duties in their absence.
  • Undertake timely assessments in line with statutory, regulatory, and operational standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Plan, implement, and review services for children and young people, ensuring outcomes are met.
  • Chair and attend relevant childcare meetings to ensure assessment outcomes are achieved through appropriate support and services.
  • Provide concise and analytical written and verbal reports for various settings, including court proceedings.
  • Lead, guide, and supervise team members to ensure work plans are in place and cases are managed effectively.
  • Manage workload planning, allocation, and review for direct reports to meet priorities within capacity and standards.
  • Develop effective partnerships with colleagues and partner agencies to provide comprehensive responses and develop integrated services.

Skills & Experience
  • Recognised professional Social Work qualification.
  • At least 3 years of post-qualifying relevant experience.
  • Current Social Work England registration.
  • Valid UK driving license and access to a car.

If you are passionate about making a difference and meet the experience criteria, we would love to hear from you.
